This is my first time buying a gun, Can someone help my with my purchase?
Absolutely, Any of our staff will be more than happy to take the time needed to show you our selection of firearms. Feel free to ask us questions and ask our opinions.
What is better for home defense shotgun or pistol?
Two considerations: secure storage space and how much you practice. If you are an active shooter a hand gun is recommended, and if you do not practice a shotgun is preferred. Please note that we recommend finding time to practice with you firearms.
What is the best self defense caliber?
This depends on your defense needs. Things to take into consideration are adjacent rooms in your home, and where your closest neighbor is located in relation to your house. Different rounds have different degrees of penetration, and as a gun owner you are responsible for the round that you shoot. Overall our belief is the best handgun round for home defense would be a .45, however each individuals need is unique. Please come down and discuss your needs with one of our friendly staff members.
What is better Revolver or a Pistol?
We believe as far as reliability goes, a revolver would edge out a semi-automatic pistol. The revolver has less moving parts, and is simpler in design, therefore more reliable. Reloading a semi-auto pistol is faster and can carry more rounds than a revolver. Note: revolvers and semi-autos with proper maintenance and care in accordance with factory instructions will perform to high standards for whatever your needs.
